Coffee Lovers

How to cool down your coffee without watering it down.

We all love a nice hot cup of coffee in the morning, but sometimes the coffee is way too hot for my palate. Here are some cool ways to cool down your coffee and avoiding the 3rd degree burns to your tongue.

Coffee Cubes
Take your ice tray and fill it up with your delicious coffee, put it in the freezer and when you wake up the next morning you will feel like a 10 year old during christmas morning looking for your Daisy Red Ryder 200-shot Carbine Action BB Gun. If you prefer black coffee, you can just make and freeze a bunch of black coffee cubes. Another twist is adding creamer and flavor shots into the ice cubes. For anyone who has burned their tongue on a cup of coffee while running out the door in the morning, this might be a mouth-saver. It's certainly a lot better than dropping in water ice cubes. Watered down coffee ruins my morning and it makes my coffee taste like if I had a wet rag in my mouth.

Another great idea is Coffee Joulies. You may be wondering what in the world is a Coffee Joulies? Well, it's a stainless steel shell and filled with a special phase change material that melts at 140°F. You put them inside the custom printed thermos and they absorb the heat from your coffee when it's too hot and then it release it back into your coffee to keep it at the perfect temperature. A set of 5 of these will go for $50.00. If you any other tips on how to cool down your coffee please post it below for other coffee lovers to enjoy. Thanks for reading.
